What is the European SharePoint Conference?
“The European SharePoint Conference (or ESPC 2016) is the largest conference of it’s kind in Europe. With 2000+ attendees anticipated at ESPC16 including MVPs, MCMs, Microsoft team members, Business Decision Makers, CIOs and CTOs – if you are involved in SharePoint or Office 365 this is the one conference you can’t miss.”
There are nearly 100 confirmed speakers, over 65 exhibitors and more than 2000 delegates from all around the world. The conference brings together SharePoint and Office 365 colleagues and companies to teach, network and inspire in equal measures.
We are using the run up to the conference to connect with speakers, partners, attendees – as many people as possible. This is really important, the event is HUGE and you can’t guarantee that you’ll just bump into those people you really want to see! There’s not long to go now, so start networking and you’ll benefit at the event! You can also find a speaker’s list on the main website. There’s also a great opportunity with social media: Twitter’s #ESPC16 or the Facebook page.
What Are We Doing?
This time round, the European Sharepoint Conference organisers have hired us to create the highlight video and take photos of the ENTIRE EVENT!
Yes, it would be an understatement to say we are a little excited! Many of the times we visit to work at Sharepoint conferences, we are working with individual Partners (which we’ll come to in a second) so to actually be taking on the entire conference is a privilege and we can’t wait to get stuck in!
In terms of individual exhibitors, at ESPC we will be reuniting with a team we worked with not long back, at Microsoft Ignite. That team is harmon.ie! Check out this blog for the low down on what we were up to with them.
We have limited availability to work with some other sponsors and exhibitors too, so if you want to know more, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
What Equipment Are We Taking?
This is certainly a good question. In short, a lot!
Here’s a little list, it’s not extensive, but it’s our core equipment:
- 4 cameras (to provide as much coverage as possible)
- Portable studio with LED lighting stands (for interviews)
- DJI Osmo (great for panoramic shots)
- Gopro (time lapses)
- Lapelle portable microphones (for interviews and great sound quality)
So there you have it, a little insight into what we are doing this week to prepare for the upcoming ESPC 2016. Let us know what you are up to in the comments below. It would be great to know if you are going to be attending too!
Until next time…
